  • OO7 Senior Supervisor - $67.89ph
  • OO6 Maintenance Supervisor - $61.64ph
  • OO6 Estimator - $61.64ph
  • Project Supervisor - $55ph
  • CW10-12 Civil Supervisor - $47.71ph - $51.52ph

Your new role

Take the lead on construction and maintenance projects across Cairns and remote regions, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards. These full-time (up to 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) roles may include travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise office staff, field teams, and subcontractors
  • Manage resources including vehicles, equipment, and depots
  • Monitor progress, quality, and budget using work order systems
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards
  • Oversee complex contracts and promote services
  • Lead team performance and stakeholder engagement
  • Support upgrades and maintenance of government assets

Ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values community infrastructure, and enjoys mentoring teams while driving continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

You’re a qualified tradesperson with proven supervisory experience or have relevant experience in the residential building and construction industry. You’re detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and confident managing teams and schedules.

  • Trade Qualification and/or extensive relevant experience
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Knowledge of asset management and client engagement
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Strong knowledge of Building Code and Australian Standards
  • Sound computer and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and organise teams

Highly Desirable Skills
  • Experience in project or contract management
