This renowned structural steel fabrication business designs and constructs structural steel systems for commercial, industrial and residential construction developments.
Based in NW Tasmania, this specialist contractor fabricates and machines their own components in their on-site workshop prior to installing on construction sites.

Your new role

This opportunity will see you using Tekla to develop structural 3D models and to also produce detailed and accurate shop-drawings for fabrication.
You'll be detailing structural steel beams, columns, bracing and fixtures to a very high and accurate standard. You're designing, detailing and preparation of manufacturing plans and documentation needs to be mm perfect to ensure seamless onsite installation.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to be an advanced and proven structural drafter with expertise in Tekla Structures software.
In addition to your drafting and modelling skills, you'll also need to have experience in the production of as-built / shop-drawings for fabrication purposes.
