We are seeking a seasoned and Strategic Transport Engineering lead to join a dynamic organisation at a Director-level or with a strong focus on business development and client acquisition. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep experience in traffic engineering, consultancy background and operational leadership to step into a role that blends strategic oversight with growth-focused business development.

Your new role

  • Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities, contracts, and partnerships.
  • Build and grow a client base through strong relationship management and market insight.
  • Lead and oversee multidisciplinary teams across engineering, landscape architecture, construction, maintenance, parks, tree management, traffic, and property.
  • Represent the organisation in high-level stakeholder engagements across public and private sectors.
  • Manage and mentor a team
  • Drive strategic project delivery and operational excellence across diverse portfolios.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in state government, local councils, and private sector infrastructure projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a Traffic Consultancy is essential.

  • 8 –12+ years in senior leadership roles within similar technical roles

  • Proven track record in managing large teams and complex projects.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in winning business and bringing in clients.

  • Comfortable working in both strategic and operational capacities.
