Hays are pleased to partner with a leading hospitality supplier dedicated to providing quality products and outstanding customer service across the region. They are seeking a causal Stores consultant to work within their Cairns branch, 20+ hours per week across Monday-Friday.

Your new role

• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone
• Prepare quotes and process transactions using POS systems
• Handle cash, reconcile tills, and maintain security procedures
• Unpack, barcode, and replenish stock while maintaining store presentation.
• Pick and pack orders and assist with stocktakes
• Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing
• Participate in team meetings and monthly safety inspections

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous retail experience, ideally in hospitality or catering
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• POS knowledge and confidence handling cash
• Ability to learn product ranges and provide tailored solutions
• High attention to detail and pride in store presentation
• Physically capable of manual handling and standing for long periods
