Your new role

  • Assisting with the unloading and sorting of parts and equipment in the warehouse
  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Stocktake and inventory tasks
  • Picking and packing parts and equipment for customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the warehouse

What you'll need to succeed

  • Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport
  • Forklift licence
  • Previous experience operating a high risk electric forklift – highly desirable
  • Must be able to complete Police check prior to commencing
  • Contactable references
  • Living locally in the Mackay region
  • Previous experience using SAP software

What you'll get in return

If successful, you'll begin in a casual capacity through Hays with the potential to transition into a long-term role with our mining client based in Mackay. Your responsibilities will include managing warehouse operations and handling parts inventory. Working within a small team, you'll liaise with workshop tradespeople to supply required parts and assist customers throughout the Mackay region.
