Your new role

As a Statutory Planning Officer, you will manage development applications, provide expert advice on planning legislation, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and the community to facilitate responsible development outcomes. This role offers flexibility with two work-from-home days per week and a fortnightly RDO arrangement.

What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policies
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines
Previous experience in statutory planning within local government or a similar environment is highly desirable.
