Software Architect | Sydney | Permanent, Full-Time | Scaleup

HAYS have partnered with an Australian Scaleup company in their search for a Software Architect. The role sits within one of the company's highest profile teams and will have broad coverage across the wider business.
The primary focus of the role is to work with exceptional Software Engineering leaders and teams in order to design and deliver world-class technical solutions for one of Australia's best startup success stories.
You'll work closely with some of the best software engineers in Sydney, so this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your skills alongside some of the best and work for a rapidly growing business which will offer fantastic career development opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and demonstrate proof of concepts
• Mentor and guide Software Engineers, Engineering leaders & Algorithm Engineers
• Design world-class software solutions, promoting best practice
• Documentation of software architecture, processes, and policies
• Lead the architecture of AI & Embedded Solutions

Experience required

• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages; Go, C++, Python
• If you are a Principal / Staff Level C++, Golang or Embedded Engineer and would like to move into architecture, the company would consider you
• Experience or knowledge in at least one area; AI, Embedded Systems or Architecture in a high-growth startup
• Experience as an architect in mission-critical, big tech or enterprise-level software
