Your new role

Working alongside a well-verse team, your new role will be diverse and rewarding. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of returned demountables from supplied jobs. Tasks include unloading portable demountable, forklift operation, painting, floor cleaning and polishing, high pressure hosing, reinstalling windows and doors, removing and replacing wall sheet and general yard duties. Your hours will be Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 3:30pm and Friday 6:30am to 1pm. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

What you'll need to succeed

• You have a strong background in building and construction
• Carpentry or Plumbing Trade and/or similar demonstrated skills and experience would be highly advantageous
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Looking for a long-term opportunity
• Conditioned to Cairns weather
• Construction Induction White Card
• Strong focus on WH&S
• You are team player and have excellent communication skills
• You have a great work ethic and high-quality workmanship
