Skilled Labourer – Parks & Grounds / Landscaping

Civil labourers needed for parks & grounds work around Hobart. Ongoing work and great team environment.

Your new role

You will be involved in a variety of outdoor tasks including:

  • Mowing, brush cutting, and general groundskeeping
  • Tractor operation and small plant machinery equipment use
  • Chainsaw operation (chainsaw ticket required)
  • Landscaping, irrigation, and garden bed maintenance
  • Assisting with minor civil works and site clean-up
  • Leading small teams or crews when required

You’ll work as part of a team maintaining public parks, gardens, and open spaces to a high standard.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in civil labouring, landscaping, or parks maintenance
  • White Card
  • Chainsaw ticket (desirable)
  • MR or HR licence (advantageous)
  • Excavator license and experience (advantageous)
  • Tractor operation experience (desirable)
  • Fire management experience (desirable)
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
  • Ability to obtain a current and clear National Police Check
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
  • Leading small teams or crews when required
