Your New Company:
This Tier 1 construction builder is one of Australia’s most respected contractors, delivering complex, building projects. They are seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager to support a live Defence project on a short term basis.

Your New Role:
As the Contract Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with strict Defence standards and protocols. You will work closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to maintain program, quality, and safety outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily site activities and coordinating subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with Defence, safety, and security requirements
Driving the construction program and resolving on-site issues
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and QA documentation
Conducting site meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
Liaising with consultants, engineers, and client representatives

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on Defence or high security projects
Employment history with a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 builder on projects up to $50 million
Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards and WHS regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
