Site Manager

Hays is currently recruiting a number of Site Managers for a commercial construction company who operates in both design & construct and fitout space.

This construction company currently has 3 openings:
  • 1 x Site Manager for a commercial design and construction department
  • 2 Site Managers/ Supervisors for their fitout/ referb department.
You can choose which division you wish to apply for.
  • The fitout division will involve projects $2-10M Heavy refurb/construction projects and traditional office Fitout’s throughout the Perth CBD mainly.
  • The design and construct division has 2 apartment projects currently around $20M which is in the design phase.
All projects will have project administrators, Contract administrators , Project Manager's and construction managers.

This organisation has been operating for over 20 years and is well known in the market for its quality and ability to perform projects on time within budget.

Currently, the organisation is in East Perth and has projects mainly in the CBD and metro area.

Your new role

  • Develop project plans including scope, schedule, budget, procurement strategy, and resource requirements.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify project risks and constraints.
  • Coordinate early‑stage activities such as design reviews, value engineering, and buildability assessments.
  • Prepare project delivery schedules (Gantt charts, programmes, milestones).
  • Manage overall project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
  • Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure alignment with schedule, quality, and safety standards.
  • All other duties
What you'll need to succeed
  • Prior experience in site supervision or management within commercial construction, either full fitout or design & construct experience, is essential.
  • 3+ years at a minimum is required.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
