Hays is partnered with a client in Perth, who are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to support the final phase of a large project in Perth city centre.
With the main construction phase coming to an end, the Site Manager will be responsible for work health & safety, site coordination, logistics, and vendor management.
during the transition to operational readiness.
This position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of components such as retail fit-outs, furniture and technology deliveries and installations, waste removal and coordination of access.
We are expecting the successful candidate to commence in late September for 3 months, with possible extensions as required.
Your new role
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the safety and compliance of site activities, ensuring alignment with contractor site regulations.
- Manage paperwork, training records, and vendor safety documentation
- Liaise with logistics teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of site operations.
- Monitor deliveries, supplies, and vendor access
- Handle customer and general site queries
- Maintain awareness of scope of work and vendor responsibilities
- Provide regular updates to the Project Director and broader team
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in site coordination, work health & safety, or project engineering within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of safety documentation and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with vendor scopes and construction logistics
- Candidates must have the correct working rights and a current national police clearance (or be willing to obtain).

Weekly pay structure
12% super paid on all hours worked
Competitive hourly or day rates
- 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
