Your New Role

As a Site Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering, construction management and contract administration support across road and drainage infrastructure projects.

You will manage day ‑ to ‑ day site operations, supervise resources and contractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and within agreed cost and program targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting delivery of road and drainage works on site
• Managing daily construction activities, safety and quality outcomes
• Coordinating contractors, day labour and site resources
• Supporting contract administration and procurement activities
• Monitoring progress, costs, risks and compliance
• Providing regular site, financial and performance reporting
• Responding to technical issues and customer enquiries

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of road and drainage construction practices
• Experience in site supervision, contractor coordination and QA/QC
• Sound understanding of WHS, environmental and quality requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound site ‑ based decisions
• Experience with project or works management systems (desirable)
• Certificate IV in Project Management and/or RPEQ (desirable)
