Our client is a well-established Australian-owned mining company with a strong presence in the Bowen Basin. Known for their commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence, they are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Site HR & Administration Officer to support their on-site operations and HR functions.
Your new role
This position plays a key role in supporting the HR and site leadership teams by managing workforce administration, mobilisation logistics, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating travel and onboarding, and ensuring all personnel meet site entry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee profiles in SAP and CAMS
- Coordinate mobilisation, including flights, accommodation, and site access
- Manage compliance records including S11, CBM, licences, and medicals
- Support onboarding and inductions for new employees and contractors
- Assist with workforce rostering and deployment planning
- Communicate with supervisors and HR to ensure alignment on staffing and mobilisation
- Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with site and corporate standards
- Provide general administrative support to site operations
What you'll need to succeed
About You:
- A minimum 2+ year’s experience in site-based administration or HR support
- Sound understanding of site admin, mobilisation and compliance
- You must have your S11 & Coal Board Medical
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); SAP and CAMS experience highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
What you'll get in return
Opportunities are available across multiple sites for both temporary and permanent contracts, with salaries commensurate with skills and suitability for the role. A 9-day fortnight roster is offered, with meals and accommodation provided on site. All positions are DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out).
