Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker who enjoys custom fabrication rather than repetitive production work?
We are recruiting for an established and growing Gold Coast manufacturer seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join its workshop team permanently. This is a hands-on role completing varied sheet metal fabrication and assembly work using a range of materials, tools and machinery.
You’ll be trusted to interpret drawings, measure accurately and complete quality fabrication work without being micromanaged.

- $42–$48 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Permanent, casual position with a clear pathway to full-time
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm

Your New Role
- Manufacturing construction products
- Reading drawings and accurately marking out materials
- Measuring, cutting and folding custom flashings
- Welding aluminium and steel components
- Operating folders, guillotines and press brakes
- Completing general sheet metal fabrication and assembly
- Checking finished products for accuracy and quality
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
What You’ll Need
- Strong measuring, marking-out and fabrication skills
- Ability to read drawings and work independently
- Experience operating folders, guillotines or press brakes
- Welding experience with aluminium and/or steel
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Reliable attitude and commitment to workplace safety
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade would be highly regarded but is not essential
