Your new role
As the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities across a broad multi‑trade service offering, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building services. Acting as a central point of communication, you will ensure work orders are managed efficiently and in line with service level agreements while supporting both technicians in the field and key national account clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day‑to‑day service coordination for multiple national contracts
- Scheduling and dispatching technicians and subcontractors across various trades and locations
- Managing the full lifecycle of work orders, including creation, updates, variations and closure
- Providing clear and timely communication to national account stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance documentation, service reports and safety requirements are completed and recorded
- Monitoring response times and contract KPIs to ensure service delivery expectations are met
- Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate system data across all workstreams
- Supporting the Service Manager with operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identifying risks, resource constraints or delays and escalating appropriately to maintain service continuity
What you need to succeed
- Experience in service coordination, scheduling or operations support within technical services, facilities management or a similar environment
- Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging both technicians and corporate clients
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Sound understanding of service management systems and data entry discipline
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
- Exposure to one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
- Multi‑trade service environments (HVAC, electrical, fire, building services)
- National or large‑scale contract administration
- Compliance management and documentation
- Coordinating subcontractors across multiple regions
