Service Administrator

Key service administration role with a respected Mackay-based mining company.

Your new company

Your new company maximises mining performance by utilising the best heavy earthmoving equipment, supported by fleet management and mining technology. Due to a new project, there is now an opportunity for a Service Administrator to join a thriving team.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:
  • Performing general administrative duties and additional tasks as delegated by the Supervisor/Service Manager
  • Managing the inductions register, licence, and certificate verification and expiration
  • Following up on copies of tax invoices and filing them with relevant job orders
  • Generating weekly/monthly reports as required by department supervisors
  • Creating quotes for internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Processing site clearance requests as required
  • Raising and receipting purchase requisitions
  • Creating, opening, and closing job orders
Verifying and entering timesheets

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects with competing priorities
  • 2+ years of experience in administration with the ability to deliver varied tasks requiring independent judgement
  • Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs, including SAP and MS Suites
  • High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to foster strong working relationships
  • A strong drive to succeed and enjoyment of a challenging, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment
2 years of experience within the mining sector or mining services

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start, working with a dynamic team at the fast-paced office in the Mackay Regional Area. You will be offered an attractive salary base rate starting at $36.00 per hour plus superannuation and penalties, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. This position will start as a casual role but has the potential to become permanent for the right
candidate.
