Your new company
You’ll be joining a global data centre owner and operator delivering one of the largest and most complex data centre programs currently underway. The organisation designs, builds and operates hyperscale, mission‑critical facilities supporting global cloud and digital infrastructure.
With long‑term investment backing and a portfolio of large‑scale, build‑to‑operate data centres, this organisation is recognised for executing projects where availability, resilience and delivery certainty are non‑negotiable.
This role sits within a multi‑billion‑dollar data centre expansion program, moving firmly into large‑scale delivery.
Your new role
As Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Centre Build and Delivery, you will take ownership of the delivery phase of a major data centre program where the design phase is complete, and execution is now the priority.
You will be responsible for leading end‑to‑end delivery across multiple workstreams including base build, MEP, power and cooling, network, rack deployment, integration, commissioning and operational readiness, ensuring milestones are achieved across a complex, large‑scale environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading delivery of hyperscale data centre infrastructure valued at over $1bn
- Managing end‑to‑end delivery from coordinating base build and IT fit‑out activities, including rack installation, rack density planning, and integration with network and compute environments
- Driving integration across power, cooling, network, security and building systems
- Overseeing systems integrators, EPCs, OEMs and specialist data centre vendors
- Owning schedule, dependencies and delivery governance across parallel streams
- Providing executive‑level reporting on progress, financials, risks and critical path items
- Ensuring delivery meets availability, redundancy, safety and reliability standards expected of Tier‑equivalent facilities
This role requires deep experience delivering physical data centre environments, not just enterprise IT or software programs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale data centre or mission‑critical infrastructure programs
- Background in hyperscale, colocation, cloud, or critical infrastructure delivery environments
- Experience leading delivery‑phase programs where design has already been completed
- Strong understanding of power, cooling, redundancy, commissioning and operational readiness
- Demonstrated capability managing EPCs, systems integrators, OEMs and specialist contractors
- Ability to operate confidently in high‑risk, zero‑downtime, safety‑critical environments
- Excellent executive‑level stakeholder and vendor management skills
Experience delivering data centres at scale (multiple campuses or buildings) will be highly regarded.
What you'll get in return
In return, you’ll gain:
- A senior role on a landmark, multi‑billion‑dollar data centre program
- Exposure to some of the largest and most technically complex data centre builds in the market
- Long‑term project visibility and direct executive sponsorship
- Competitive senior‑level remuneration aligned to program scale and complexity
- The opportunity to help deliver critical infrastructure that underpins global cloud and digital services for decades
- The security of working in a high‑trust environment, with Australian citizenship required, and NV1 security clearance preferred or eligibility to apply
This is a career‑defining opportunity for a senior data centre delivery leader who wants scale, complexity and measurable impact.
