A well-established Government organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business and Product Analyst to support the assessment, design, delivery, and onboarding of complex digital platforms and services. This is a hands‑on role suited to a senior analyst who can bridge user needs, technical delivery, product outcomes, and operational onboarding within a reliability‑focused digital services environment.

Your new role

Working closely with cross‑functional teams, including technical delivery, testing, and business stakeholders, you will provide end‑to‑end analysis and practical delivery support. Your focus will be on defining service workflows and requirements, producing high‑quality delivery artefacts, supporting onboarding to digital platforms, and ensuring solutions transition smoothly into operation.
This role requires strong analytical capability combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to progress work from analysis through to implementation and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business and system analysis to define user needs, service workflows, and functional and non‑functional requirements, informed by human‑centred design principles
  • Develop and maintain practical delivery artefacts including playbooks, onboarding guides, checklists, templates, and reference materials
  • Support agencies to onboard to digital platforms, including reviewing onboarding submissions, resolving issues, and supporting transition to steady‑state operations
  • Document business processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration requirements to support delivery and testing
  • Evaluate digital platforms, APIs, and system integrations to support business and service delivery use cases
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for service improvement, supporting prioritisation and delivery sequencing decisions
  • Analyse data to inform decision‑making and evaluate service and platform performance
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences to enable understanding and delivery outcomes
  • Undertake practical project management activities to ensure work progresses from analysis into implementation and onboarding

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a senior‑level analyst with strong hands‑on delivery capability and experience operating in complex digital environments where service continuity and reliability are critical.
Required skills include:
  • Strong business and systems analysis capability
  • Ability to apply human‑centred design principles when defining user stories, workflows, and requirements
  • Proven experience producing delivery artefacts such as playbooks, onboarding guides, templates, and reference documentation
  • Experience documenting business processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional and non‑functional requirements
  • Ability to analyse data to support decisions and assess service or platform performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Practical project management skills to support delivery from analysis through to onboarding
Required experience:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar hybrid role within digital delivery environments
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including technical delivery, testing, and business stakeholders
  • Experience working in environments that require service reliability, continuity, and minimal disruption

The Senior Technical Business and Product Analyst will deliver high‑quality analysis, documentation, onboarding support, and practical delivery artefacts to enable effective design, delivery, onboarding, and ongoing operation of digital platforms and services.
