Your new role

• Managing and enhancing backup and recovery operations using Veritas (Cohesity) NetBackup
• Supporting backup workloads across SQL Server, Exchange, Linux, Oracle, and SharePoint
• Deploying and configuring Cohesity Alta data protection in Microsoft Azure
• Implementing and managing Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection
• Monitoring and troubleshooting backup performance and failures
• Performing backup validation and disaster recovery testing
• Collaborating with database, infrastructure, and application teams
• Maintaining up‑to‑date documentation for recovery plans, architecture, and operational procedures
• Delivering on infrastructure projects independently and as part of larger teams
• Participating in after‑hours maintenance as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven hands‑on experience as a backup expert, particularly with Veritas (Cohesity) NetBackup
• Experience deploying and configuring Cohesity Alta in Azure
• Experience with Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell or Python)
• Excellent technical documentation skills
• Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure and data‑protection frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset suited to complex ICT environments
