Your New Role
As a Senior Structural/Aquatics Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of major sports and recreation projects across Australia. Working closely with the national leadership team, you will undertake detailed analysis and design of structures including stadia, aquatic facilities and associated infrastructure. You will collaborate with architects, service engineers, contractors and other stakeholders, provide construction‑phase support, conduct investigative inspections and prepare technical reports. You will also contribute to project and financial management activities while supporting the continued development of the Sports & Recreation portfolio. This role can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
A Bachelor or Master of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
Advanced knowledge or significant experience (8–15 years) in the structural design of aquatic and/or sport and recreation facilities
Strong capability in reinforced and post‑tensioned concrete, particularly for water‑retaining structures
Ability to interpret architectural, services and survey documentation
Experience using structural analysis software
Strong communication skills and confidence in client‑facing environments
Ability to meet deadlines, manage budgets and contribute to project leadership
Progress toward Chartered Status and experience delivering projects within Australia will be highly regarded.
