Senior Storeperson

Seeking a Senior Storeperson who is looking to take their next step in leadership with a company in Hemmant
Your new company
We are seeking a Senior Store person to join our small, dynamic team. The successful candidate will report to the Branch Coordinator in Hemmant. This hands-on role requires someone who can set an example in safety, punctuality, and reliability.

Your new role
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and documenting the movement of materials.
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
  • Assisting the Branch Manager to lead a small team
  • Manual load and unload of containers at times
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Automatic open car licence
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator/storeperson
  • Experience running a small team (1-3 people). Advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
