Your new role
This 12‑month contract will see you step in as the Senior SharePoint Developer responsible for overseeing the organisation’s SharePoint environment and associated Microsoft 365 integrations. You will manage day‑to‑day platform support, design and deliver automated workflows, enhance the intranet and document management systems, and ensure solutions are implemented smoothly across the business. Your work will involve gathering requirements, building and testing SharePoint solutions, coordinating user acceptance activities, and guiding staff through new processes and tools. You will also play a key role in connecting SharePoint with applications such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and Power BI to streamline operations and strengthen digital adoption.
What you’ll need to succeed
Strong technical background across SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and the wider Microsoft 365 suite.
Hands‑on experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and API‑based integrations including Microsoft Graph.
Proven capability in diagnosing and resolving complex SharePoint issues, with a meticulous approach to permissions, data integrity, and configuration management.
Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint migrations, particularly transitioning from on‑premise environments to cloud‑based platforms.
Practical knowledge of workflow automation and solution integration within Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
A relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience, supported by at least four years in a SharePoint administration or development capacity.
Exposure to third‑party migration tools or Microsoft certifications will be considered advantageous.
What you’ll get in return
You will secure a 12‑month contract with a respected regional employer offering competitive remuneration, free accommodation, and the chance to contribute to a significant digital transformation program. You’ll work closely with an experienced IT leadership team, gain exposure to modern Microsoft technologies, and enjoy a unique opportunity to combine professional development with a regional NSW lifestyle.
