A newly expanding security technology provider in the Illawarra region is building on more than a decade of delivering high quality electronic security solutions across residential, commercial, industrial and government environments. The team is known for prioritising well engineered, reliable systems rather than rushed installations, offering a full suite of services including alarms, access control, CCTV, intercoms, monitoring and integrated building systems.
Your New Role
This senior role involves delivering hands-on, high level service, diagnostics, commissioning and complex installations across alarms, access control, intercoms and IP CCTV systems. You’ll work independently to troubleshoot and resolve network‑related issues affecting system performance, while maintaining accurate job documentation in simPRO. You will play a key role in delivering support to and guiding the broader technical team, representing the business professionally on client sites and contributing to the ongoing improvement of company processes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronic security
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Solid understanding of IP CCTV and foundational networking
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly with clients
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- NSW Security Licence (2B & 2C), Open Cabling Registration, NSW Driver Licence and White Card
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms is highly regarded:
- Alarms/Access: Bosch, DAS NX/Reliance, Inner Range Concept/Integriti, Tecom
- CCTV/VMS: Milestone, Avigilon, Bosch, Genetec
- IP Cameras: Hanwha, Vivotek, Dahua
