Your new role

As the Senior Rostering Coordinator, you will be a central figure in delivering efficient workforce allocation and administrative precision across a highly dynamic aviation environment. Working closely with the General Manager – Aviation Security, you’ll ensure optimal staff coverage aligned with contractual and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategically coordinate shift coverage based on flight schedules and client demands while minimising overtime
  • Manage and maintain rosters using industry-standard scheduling systems
  • Monitor staff performance, timekeeping, and payroll accuracy via Kronos/UKG platforms
  • Support billing and invoicing tasks, ensuring revenue accuracy and client satisfaction
  • Drive compliance with enterprise agreements, fatigue management policies and WHS requirements
  • Liaise with stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation to support internal reporting and process improvement

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a combination of technical competency, workforce planning expertise, and strong interpersonal acumen. You’re someone who enjoys organising chaos into structure and understands how precision in planning impacts broader business outcomes.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • In-depth knowledge of Kronos or UKG Workforce Management systems
  • Proven experience in interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Industry Awards
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt under pressure
  • Familiarity with workforce rostering practices in a compliance-heavy industry
