This is an opportunity to join their organisation permanently as a Senior Quality Officer.

Your new role

As the Senior Quality Officer, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and quality management systems. You will ensure the organisation’s compliance with legislative requirements, accreditation standards, and best practice, while supporting a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence. Your key focus areas will include:

  • Develop and maintain organisational policies and procedures aligned with legislation, accreditation standards, and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance by interpreting and applying relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and organisational performance.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, identifying systemic issues and recommending evidence-informed solutions.
  • Support operational and clinical governance frameworks to embed accountability for safe, high-quality, child-safe care.
  • Coordinate internal audits and collaborate with teams to address findings and implement action plans.
  • Prepare for and maintain compliance with external licencing, registration, and accreditation requirements.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar quality, compliance, or governance role.

  • Strong knowledge of human services legislation, NDIS Quality Standards, and HSQF.

  • Experience with risk, compliance, and quality management systems in the community services sector.

  • Understanding of Work Health & Safety and Privacy legislation.

  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, frameworks, and accreditation standards.

  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Driver Licence
