Senior Project Manager

Well established Insurance organisation looking for an experienced Business Project Manager

Your new role

Strategy & Leadership
  • Support the creation and delivery of strategic and annual plans including policies, service standards and service delivery.
  • Based on program of work, make recommendation in support of strategic resource (capacity and capability) planning, in appropriate time frames.
Project participation & Implementation
  • Lead the implementation of key projects, as provided by business plan
  • In collaboration with business representatives, define scope, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing for initiatives.
  • Develop and carry out appropriate change management and stakeholder engagement plans and influence relevant stakeholders to drive adoption and ensure project objectives are met.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborates with key staff to assist in the design and implementation of processes and procedures keeping quality and efficiency at the forefront.
  • Provide support on cross-functional projects by evaluating, developing, and communicating process and resourcing changes in support of the project.
  • Provide advice, share knowledge and identified solutions/wins with others to facilitate strong team performance.
Regulatory & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Delegated Authorities, Business Plan, Policies and Standards.
  • Support company audit processes and make recommendations as required.
  • Support the Head of Operational Program Integration on ad-hoc projects and work.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management/Continuous Improvement or as a Delivery Lead
  • Demonstrated experience in change and transformational management and implementation
  • Experience in managing projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong requirements gathering capability
  • Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a project team within a cross functional environment and to deal with multiple stakeholders, building strong effective relationships
