Your new company
Hays have partnered with a state government department to appoint a Senior Project Manager to a 12-month contract on a Salesforce CRM implementation project. With a strong chance of extension, and the ability to really get stuck in and lead this project, this isn't one you want to miss!
Your new role
As the Senior Project Manager, you'll support this department and the executive management team in their transition to a new Salesforce-based CRM solution within a revised operational service delivery model. Your day-to-day will be varied and fast-paced, but some of your core duties will involve:
- Managing, leading, and coordinating the implementation, reporting, rollout, and closure phases of this CRM and Portal project
- Oversee project execution, ensuring key deliverables are met through comprehensive monitoring, quality control of project artefacts, and effective stakeholder communication
- Coordinate procurement and vendor management activities, aligning with significant procurement plans and managing dependencies effectively
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to ensure project success and adherence to customer-centric values
- Employ a blend of project management methodologies (Prince 2 Agile, SAFe Agile, PMBOK etc.) to meet governance requirements, while maintaining financial oversight and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an accomplished Project Management professional, with relevant senior project/program experience in Salesforce CRM projects or equivalent complex business system projects (including systems integration, data migration, business process change, and testing approaches). You'll possess strong vendor management experience, as well as the ability to direct and manage a large project team comprising multiple vendors delivering to contracts, and individual resources working across business analysis, change management, and testing. Your proven track record in leading complex and high-impact projects highlights your ability to deliver major projects on time and on budget, and your stakeholder engagement skills are second to none.
What you'll get in return
You'll have the opportunity to take the lead on this high-profile piece of work, building out the team you need and driving this project to succeed. You'll initially be offered a 12-month contract, with a strong chance of extension, and you'll be remunerated at an attractive daily rate up to $1240.74/day including super or plus GST.
