Your new role

• Managing and maintaining a wide range of network and security technologies to ensure their optimal operation.
• Implementing and maintaining network & security infrastructure.
• Developing and maintaining network documentation.
• Troubleshooting network issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Participating in project planning and implementation for network upgrades and migrations.
• Performing physical and logical network deployments and migrations.
• Acting as the escalation point for network-related outages.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining systems, cloud, network & security infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco routing & switching, Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi and Cisco Umbrella / Zscaler SASE.
• Prior experience in the delivery of Network & Security projects end-to-end.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology, as well as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Zscaler certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working within MSP, Consultancy or Education sector organisations is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence.
