Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

• Support planning, production, and evaluation of consumer marketing campaigns and content, ensuring alignment with governance standards.

• Implement and manage the annual destination marketing plan across trade and consumer channels.

• Measure, report, and analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities to inform future strategies.

• Assist in managing budgets, timelines, and provide regular status updates for marketing programs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry bodies, community organisations, and external agencies.

• Oversee brand sponsorships and ensure consistent, high-quality application of brand assets across all platforms.

• Conduct consumer research and support marketing initiatives with insights from best practices and market trends.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in senior marketing roles, ideally within the tourism or leisure sectors, with a strong background in consumer and trade communications.

• Highly developed written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence presenting to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using digital platforms and technologies for marketing, including content creation and editing across multichannel environments.

• Ability to conduct and interpret research and data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, preferably within a tourism context.

• Skilled in managing projects, timelines, and budgets, with experience working collaboratively with creative and media agencies.

• Ability to develop innovative marketing solutions, with a commitment to integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect, and excellence. A relevant qualification in marketing is desirable.
