We are partnering with a leading organisation in the Infrastructure sector to recruit an experienced Senior Management Accountant on a 6‑month contract. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys providing high-quality insights, supporting operational teams and working across a large, complex environment.

This role sits within a high performing team and will suit someone who is hands-on, detail driven and comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities include:
• Supporting detailed project and contract performance analysis
• Managing month‑end processes including journals, accruals, cost reviews, capitalisation and plant rate maintenance
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and preparing financial reporting outputs
• Managing project closures, capacity planning, rate updates and other periodic accounting tasks
• Providing accurate data for claims, invoicing and contractual compliance
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, including loading P&L data and preparing rolling forecasts
• Contributing to audit, tax and compliance requirements including FBT data preparation
• Working closely with finance and operational teams to deliver meaningful commercial support
• Assisting with process enhancements and team-driven initiatives

• CA/CPA qualified with tertiary studies in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
• 3–5 years’ experience in a management accounting or financial analysis role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, project accounting and operational support
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Proactive approach, strong analytical capability, and commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• High level of resilience, initiative and problem‑solving skills
