A prominent entity is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to provide leadership and legal expertise across a variety of commercial initiatives.

Your new role

• Offer strategic legal guidance and support to internal teams

• Draft, review, and manage contracts related to complex business agreements and transactions.

• Oversee legal aspects of business operations, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Engage and coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent approaches to legal challenges.

• Build and maintain professional relationships that facilitate smooth legal operations.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 4+ PQE
• Law degree and admission to practice law in Victoria.

• Proven ability to analyse and solve complex problems with innovative solutions.

• Flexibility in handling multiple priorities and resilience in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive negotiations and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.

• Extensive legal experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in construction or related fields.

• Significant legal experience in a corporate setting, with a focus on contractual law.

• Demonstrated ability to manage extensive legal processes and documentation.
