As part of its commitment to modernising prudential architecture and transforming technology and data, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join its Digital Services team

Your new role

As a Senior Systems Engineer , you will play a critical role in the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and security of the digital systems and platforms. Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, you will support both project delivery and business-as-usual operations, contributing to their strategic goals through innovative and secure technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain digital systems and platforms.

• Perform system patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

• Design and deploy digital solutions aligned with best practices and organisational needs.

• Support cloud migration and automation initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for digital platforms and services.

What you'll need to succeed

• Existing Baseline or NV1 security clearance highly Essential.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with patching, automation, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).

• Proficiency in supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases, including Oracle Financials.

• Demonstrated experience in cloud migration and enterprise patching solutions.

• Familiarity with ACSC Essential 8, ISM, and PSPF frameworks.

• Experience with platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Oracle Financials.
