Your new role

• Design, manage, and evolve VMware server and desktop environments (Horizon)
• Lead upgrades, patching, and performance tuning across secure networks
• Troubleshoot issues and implement best practices for availability and resilience
• Create technical docs, SOPs, and risk/security assessments
• Mentor peers and uplift platform maturity through automation and knowledge sharing

What you'll need to succeed

• Deep VMware expertise (VCP certified)
• Strong grasp of SFIA Level 4–5 in availability, infrastructure, problem management, systems design, and installation
• Experience in secure, high-stakes ICT environments
• A knack for balancing BAU and project demands with precision
• Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum of NV1 Security Clearance (AGSVA). Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
• Location: Applicants must be based in Canberra (ACT) and able to work from the local office, as the role involves regular collaboration and team interaction
