Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead projects and manage a small team of engineers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and documentation of electrical and lighting systems, client liaison, and project delivery. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects i.e. fit-outs, refurbishments, and occasionally new builds, with a focus on workplace and community spaces.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead projects and manage a small team of engineers. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects i.e. fit-outs, refurbishments, and occasionally new builds, with a focus on workplace and community spaces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical and lighting design across building services projects
- Use of software such as PowerCAD, Skylux, ATI, and Revit
- Occasional hands-on drafting and design markups
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and internal resources
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 -10 years of local experience in electrical building services design
- Strong consulting background and understanding of project environments
- Proficiency in lighting design software and Revit an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead projects and support junior staff
