An established organisation in Tasmania is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their analytics function. The organisation is continuing to strengthen its insight capability and is looking for someone who can support high-quality decision-making across the business.

Your new role

You will play a key role in transforming complex datasets into clear and meaningful insights. This is a stakeholder centred role where you will work closely with leaders across the organisation, ensuring they have reliable, accurate and timely information to support their work.
You will analyse internal and external datasets, identify trends, build reports and dashboards, support modelling activities and contribute to projects that require strong analytical capability. You will also help maintain the organisation’s BI environment and ensure data quality, accuracy and governance are upheld.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with multiple data sources

• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• The ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights for non-technical audiences

• Strong stakeholder engagement capability

• Experience leading analytics work from scoping through to delivery

• A solid foundation in analytical methods, modelling and forecasting

• High attention to detail and strong documentation habits
