Your new company

A leading, household-name organisation is seeking a corporate solicitor to join its in-house legal team on a two-year fixed-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to lead a national privacy compliance uplift project for a major brand undergoing significant digital transformation.

Your new role

Working closely with both the Legal and Data Governance teams, you’ll take ownership of reviewing, updating, and strengthening a suite of internal privacy policies and procedures in line with evolving federal privacy legislation. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in broader commercial legal work depending on capacity.

• Drive a large-scale project to audit and improve enterprise-wide privacy compliance
• Review, assess, and revise existing privacy-related frameworks and policies
• Provide clear, practical advice to internal stakeholders across multiple business units
• Engage in wider BAU legal support including contracts, consumer law, and advertising

What you'll need to succeed

• 2–5+ years’ post-admission experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team
• Strong grounding in privacy or data protection law, with experience reviewing or drafting policies
• Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and project-driven environment
