Contract Administrator (Senior Level) – Brownfield Construction Project
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Contract Administrator to support a major brownfield construction project. This client-side role involves managing pre-awarded subcontract packages in Civil, Structural Mechanical Piping (SMP) and Electrical/Instrumentation (EI), ensuring excellent contract execution and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer SMP and EI subcontract packages through design to commissioning
- Monitor contractor performance, manage variations, EOTs, and commercial claims
- Support sustainable commercial outcomes and strategic supplier relationships
- Ensure contract execution complies with project governance and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project controls and engineering consultants to maximise value and minimise risk
- Maintain strong HSE standards within contractor management
Ideal Candidate:
- Brings experience in brownfield and/or oil & gas projects
- Skilled in managing high-risk subcontracts and resolving complex claims
- Understands contract law, project delivery, and performance monitoring
- Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commercial or project management
- Demonstrates leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive, safety-first mindset
This role is offered for an initial 12-month term with potential through to project completion in 2026/27.
