Our state government client based in Perth’s western suburbs is currently seeking an experienced Senior Communications Coordinator to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a temporary contract for 6 to 12 months. This role is a great opportunity to work in an exciting organisation with a large focus on the health industry. The position will report to the Communications Manager and will directly supervise 3 FTE.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and implement stakeholder engagement strategies outlining key projects
Provide internal and external strategic communication advice to stakeholders
Develop and implement key communication programs
Work along with the team to identify media and online communications opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
Experience of coordinating communications for a large change project
Extensive exposure to implementing stakeholder communication strategies for a large and complex organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferably health or public sector experience
