Your new role

Reporting to a Commercial Manager, this Senior Commercial Analyst role is a key business partnering position supporting procurement and supply chain decision-making. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, insights, and reporting, enabling fact-based decisions, driving commercial outcomes, and enhancing supplier negotiations. You will also play a key role in developing best-practice processes and tools to improve analytical capability across the function.

• Partner with commercial and procurement stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
• Deliver analysis and insights to inform supply chain tenders and supplier negotiations
• Produce regular performance reporting, including Power BI dashboards and visualisations
• Develop and implement analytical frameworks, processes, and templates
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc commercial projects

What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, commerce, or related discipline with previous experience in a similar analytical or commercial role, ideally in a large, complex organisation. Strong business partnering capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders as well as advanced analytical skills with experience across large data sets and product-level analysis. You should have a strong technical capability in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE) and the ability to build financial models and translate insights into clear commercial recommendations. You should also be self-motivated, proactive, and commercially astute with excellent communication skills.
