Senior Change Analyst required to drive change activities in federal government EPMO

Hays have partnered with a busy federal government agency to appoint a Senior Change Analyst to an initial 12-month contract. Working closely with an established Senior Change Manager, and with a 12-month extension already on the cards beyond this initial contract term, this isn't one you want to miss.

Your new role

Sitting within the agency's EPMO, your role as the Senior Change Analyst will see you responsible for the assessment, design, and delivery of change management activities at the EPMO level. No day will look the same, however some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise adoption, minimise resistance, and support key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change
  • Undertaking impact and readiness assessments to identify areas of resistance and develop mitigating activities
  • Working with a level of independence, under broad direction and against established priorities, practices, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes
  • Communicating and making decisions with consideration of potential impacts on the functional area, its stakeholders, and the government agency more broadly

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an established change professional, with a minimum of 3+ years experience in change management implementation and delivery. You'll possess demonstrated experience applying structure change management methodologies and activities to drive and embed change, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your stakeholder engagement skillset will be second to none, whilst your experience in government and digital transformation/ICT environments sets you apart from other applicants.

Please note that Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility to be considered for this role.

With a Senior Change Manager working closely with you to support your activities and deliverables, you'll be set up for success from the get-go, as well as remunerated at an attractive daily rate commensurate with your skills and experience.
