Your new role

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Machinery of Council Changes (MOCC) across the Group. Working closely with stakeholders across partnering groups, you will analyse current operations, design future‑state structures and processes, and support the development of operational agreements that enable effective service delivery and an improved customer experience.
This role is critical in enabling seamless organisational transition and ensuring new structures are aligned to strategic and operational needs.

• Conducting As Is analysis including FTE, budget, structures, processes and service catalogues.
• Developing To Be documentation and analysis, identifying issues, options and agreement requirements.
• Designing implementation roadmaps, transition plans and identifying critical processes requiring redesign.
• Producing business requirements for system changes and contributing to reporting needs.
• Applying process design methodologies to map, document and improve end‑to‑end processes.
• Working collaboratively across teams to shape organisational design, support consultation and inform business cases.
• Facilitating continuous improvement activities that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a similar Senior Business Analyst or transformation-focused role.

• Strong background in organisational design, including analysis of structures, FTEs, budgets and business cases.

• Demonstrated experience supporting transformation or change programs.

• Advanced BPMN process mapping skills and proficiency in tools such as Visio, ARIS or Blueworks.

• Proven ability to apply process design/improvement methodologies to solve complex workflow issues.

• Strong analytical, project and product management capability with the ability to translate business needs into operational requirements.

• Ability to deliver pragmatic outcomes that align methodology with business value.

• High-level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and ideally, Power BI.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
