Hays have partnered with a local government body in the Ipswich-region to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to an initial 12-month contract on an enterprise-wide HR/Payroll/Timekeeping upgrade. With a strong view to extend, and an immediate start on the cards, we want to hear from you now!
Your new role
Reporting in to the Program Manager, your role as the Senior Business Analyst will position you as a crucial member of this project implementation team. No day will look the same, but some of your key duties will involve:
- Leading the validation and documentation of HR/Payroll/Timekeeping requirements and business scenarios, documenting high-level 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes across the organisation
- Identifying and facilitating process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level
- Understanding and negotiating needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Support solution implementation phases for configuration, testing, data mapping/migration, cut-over and post-launch activities
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an established Senior Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience working on the implementation of an ERP Payroll and Timekeeping system. You'll possess high-level strategic thinking, research, and critical evaluation skills as well as effective management of business requirements throughout a project's lifecycle and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You'll be a collaborative worker, and exposure to project management will be very beneficial.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered an initial 12-month contract on a multi-year piece of work with funding already signed off. Your team of project professionals will support you in your delivery efforts, and you'll be remunerated at an attractive daily rate between $800 - $1050/day including superannuation. WFH and hybrid working is also on offer, with great flexibility depending on project requirements.
