Your new role
This is an exclusive opportunity for an A1-accredited Senior Building Surveyor to work alongside and lead a talented group of certifiers on a wide variety of commercial projects and become a key part of a vibrant team based in their North Sydney offices.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, uses their initiative, and can build strong, positive relationships with both colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, approve, and complete Building Applications in full compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
Provide expert advice to clients on Building Code requirements and other legislative matters.
Prepare clear and accurate quotations tailored to client needs.
Conduct on-site inspections, produce detailed reports, and maintain open communication with clients throughout the process.
Actively participate in project meetings, taking ownership and driving outcomes to ensure project success.
Assess certificates for compliance, ensuring all documentation meets required standards.
Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.
What you'll need to succeed
Suitable qualifications in Building Surveying or equivalent (A1 registered).
Proven local experience across a variety of commercial projects.
Strong expertise in the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant state legislation, and the certification process.
A valid driving licence and the flexibility to travel to project sites as needed
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive outcomes.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities with confidence.
