Our client, a market leading structural company with significant projects and growth plans, has a unique opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team based in the northern suburbs.
Your new role
This newly created role will see you reporting to the General Manager.
You will be responsible for a broad range of financial and management accounting duties including
month end, quarterly and annual reporting, financial forecasts, budgeting and bank reconciliations.
You will also oversee the payroll in periods of absence. This business is going through an exciting period of growth and change, so you will also have the opportunity to manage a variety of continuous financial improvement projects which support the businesses' growth plans.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be working across the business and have proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper together with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- Previous experience in general accounting, reporting and knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finance and taxation.
- The ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
