Construction business based in Bunbury are currently in the market for a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant to support the business Director and CFO. The business is established and successful providing diversified services to a number of industries.

Your new role

This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting function of the business, including:

• Invoicing and reporting

• Bank and account reconciliations

• End of month reporting

• Weekly financial reports (cashflow, cost management, etc.)

• General accounting and bookkeeping duties

• Supervising an Accounts Payable / Payroll Officer

• Liaising regularly with Project Managers

What you'll need to succeed

• Live locally in Bunbury or surrounds

• Senior bookkeeper or intermediate accountant experience

• Capable of working independently and being self-sufficient

• Comfortable taking ownership of the accounting function

• Confident preparing and interpreting management reports

• Able to communicate effectively across operations and management

• Experience or understanding of construction or service-based industries is highly desirable.
