Your new role

• Designing and implementing data platforms and frameworks using Synapse Analytics, PySpark, Fabric, and Data Factory
• Building business data products with lakehouses
• Leading requirements gathering, design, and data modelling for business data products
• Developing cubes and reports in Power BI and Azure Analysis Services
• Partnering with enterprise architects to shape the enterprise data platform
• Managing the data engineering backlog and ensuring timely delivery
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team culture
• Exploring emerging technologies to improve data engineering practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong background in lakehouses, data platform frameworks, and data mesh architecture
• Expert-level knowledge in PySpark and SQL
• Proven experience in data warehousing, data modelling, and delivering BI solutions using Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Azure Analysis Services
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, branching, and pipelines
• Track record of delivering solutions for projects with large data volumes
• 5+ years in technical analytics or data warehousing environments
• 3+ years working with PySpark, Microsoft SQL databases, and Azure Synapse Analytics/Databricks
