Senior Automated Test Engineer

Your new role

As an expert test engineer, you will work closely with the Test Manager to define effective strategies for test code development and ensure seamless integration of test automation within Scrum workflows and build pipelines. They also contribute to modernising legacy testing streams by introducing automation and supporting the transition to DevOps practices
  • Recommend test automation tools, frameworks, and languages.
  • Design and build maintainable automation frameworks for UI, backend, and accessibility.
  • Define coding standards for test automation across the team.
  • Deliver in-sprint automated tests aligned with acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and automation code.
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation practices.
  • Manage risks and issues in test automation delivery.
  • Assist the Test Manager in expanding the automation team and coverage.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong hands-on expertise in automation testing, frameworks, CI/CD, and related tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Sharp analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Passionate about quality assurance through testing and automation.
  • Embraces accessible design and development with enthusiasm.
