This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most significant projects currently underway in Melbourne, with mentorship from respected design leaders and the potential to help shape the future of the practice.
Your new role
As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading teams and managing key projects from concept through to construction. Your role will balance creative leadership with a strong command of project delivery, client engagement, and team management. You’ll be hands-on in design development and actively involved in guiding internal reviews, documentation standards, and construction administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex architectural projects with a focus on high-quality design outcomes
- Collaborate with directors and senior team members on concept development and design strategy
- Manage project timelines, consultant coordination, and documentation packages
- Oversee design resolution, compliance, and quality assurance through to construction
- Represent the studio in client and consultant meetings with clarity and professionalism
- Mentor and support junior architects and graduates within the team
- Ensure all work aligns with the practice’s design principles and delivery standards
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive and design-driven architect with demonstrated leadership experience and a portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of both conceptual design and built work.
To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum 7+ years of post-graduate architectural experience
- Strong project leadership experience across a range of building typologies
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (mandatory), along with Adobe Suite and other industry tools
- Solid knowledge of BCA/NCC, local planning frameworks, and construction methodology
- Strong design communication and presentation skills
- NSW Registration as an architect, or eligibility to register
- A collaborative mindset and an ability to inspire and lead project teams
