Your new role
This position leads stakeholder and community engagement strategies designed to strengthen trust and reputation.
Responsibilities include
Managing sponsorships and high‑profile events
Building productive partnerships with Indigenous organisations, community groups, government and industry contacts
Advising senior leaders on engagement risks and opportunities.
Developing high quality communication materials for internal and external audiences, supported by advanced Excel and project planning skills to meet the demands of a fast‑paced environment.
The role is offered as a six‑month temporary contract with potential for extension.
The roster is 5 Days On, 2 Days Rest, 4 Days On, 3 Days Rest
Work Hours Per Day:12
FIFO to site occurs Monday to Thursday, while Fridays are based in the Darwin office.
Only Darwin residents are eligible due to roster requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role requires strong experience in stakeholder and community engagement within mining, infrastructure, government or similar sectors.
Solid event and sponsorship management capability is essential. Advanced Excel skills, strong organisational and analytical capability, and confidence in managing sensitive issues with cultural awareness will support performance.
Experience working with Traditional Owners and Indigenous communities is required, along with relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, community engagement or related fields.
